“I Lose Weight When I Rest”

Most of your fitness results happen outside the gym when you rest.

One of my guys is talking to his friend about rest days. She is hesitant to take them; he has scheduled one every week since the beginning and takes a week-long deload every six weeks.

"You're right; I do most of my loss from rest."

I've been in fitness for fifteen years. I have held and let go of half a dozen certifications. Until this point, all of this has taught me the science of biology, physiology, exercise, and nutrition.

I'm getting another cert this year, but I see it as a paradigm shift in my industry.

The certification will make me a Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach.

I've been learning how to stress people out with workouts and diets for a decade and a half. My education pivots to getting people to do less, de-stress and sleep more.

My clients and I already have good evidence for these practices. It's going to be cool to learn more.
