“For the first time in my life, I enjoy going to the gym.”

By: Michael Beiter

I’ve got goosebumps as I write this.

A high school classmate and friend sought help a few months back. We’ll call him Stan for now.

First, every time this happens, it’s proof of concept for me. I knew I had something regarding my fitness and nutrition passion and had to find a way to help my homies with it. But failure after failure of talks over beers and under the drone of sporting games never materialized to anything. But now that I’ve been running my business for a while and my cohorts of friends I grew up with get older and prioritize health, I’m positioned perfectly to be the one they turn to.

Second, Stan’s progress is nuts. He’s dropping body fat and gaining muscle simultaneously because this is the first time he has ever combined weight lifting with some food modulation.

His concerns about not being able to eat what he wants are fading as he roasts all kinds of meats each weekend while drinking beer and watching football.

Stan’s work provides a top-class exercise facility he didn’t take advantage of before. When we first sat down, he told me he just needed to know what to do there. Our app quickly solved his questions there.

Most importantly, he said: “I haven’t given up eating anything. If I want it, I eat it. For the first time in my life, I enjoy getting in the gym.

Stan’s results are not typical. His results thus far are a product of commitment and consistency. Even in the face of being a new father!

Shout out to Stan, and thank you to him and everyone reading for the support.

Watching somebody fall in love with taking care of themselves is pretty cool.
