I’m Getting A New Certification

By: Michael Beiter

I'm excited to share that I recently signed up for a brand-new certification program after more than five years. I'm now studying to become a Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach. My previous training was focused on applying stressors to people and measuring their responses, but now I'm learning how to reduce stress in people and measure those responses. It's a completely different approach, but I have high hopes for the results.

The early hints have been very promising. I've already learned a lot about the importance of sleep and how to help people improve their sleep hygiene. I've also been studying various stress reduction techniques and how to tailor them to different individuals based on their unique needs and situations. It's fascinating to see the different ways that people respond to stress and how we can help them manage it more effectively.

One of the things I'm most excited about is the potential to use technology to enhance our coaching. There are so many great tools out there that can help people track their sleep patterns, monitor their stress levels, and provide feedback on their progress. I'm eager to explore all of these options and find the best ones to incorporate into my coaching practice.

Overall, I'm feeling very positive about this new training in my career. I believe that by helping people manage their sleep and stress, I can make a more meaningful difference in their lives. It's a challenging but rewarding path, and I'm looking forward to what future work will bring.
