john’s One Year at a glance
By: Michael Beiter
Here's a fun one.
I worked with this guy for a year.
He lost his fat fast and held steady from October to May.
Look at all the body weight fluctuations as he sustained.
The ups are all Mondays, and the downs are all Fridays.
This happens to everyone and is normal, especially if you relax your diet on the weekends.
It tells us that because the weight goes up and comes back down within a week, the gain is not fat tissue, and neither is the loss. Fat tissue doesn't get made in a week or lost in one either, it takes many weeks of consistent calorie surpluses to gain fat and just as many in a deficit to lose it.
So the undulations are from water, bloating, poop, and pee.
